Fresh Flora. Created 1976. Perfumer William Henry Penhaligon & Sheila Pickles. Violetta is a dark, dusky and mysterious fragrance suffused with the achingly nostalgic purity of violets. Napoleon gave Josephine this beloved flower and today we are still beguiled by its mysterious scent. Surprisingly green with notes of Citrus and Galbanum begin with; it becomes lush and velvety as the true Violet develops. The ever entrancing Violet is complimented with a base of Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Musk. Violetta captures the elusive Violet with incredible clarity and potency.
