Created 1996. Perfumer Demeter In House. One of the first species of plant to be domesticated by humans, the Ficus spans over 800 species and is ingrained in history, myth and religion. The fruit of the Fig tree was a staple food for the ancient Greeks; Budda used the Fig tree for shade during his enlightenment, in India the Fig tree is sacred and the Fig leaf has been used to hide the genitals on Italian marble statues during the 19th century. Fig Leaf smells like a weekend on the sun-drenched Mediterranean coast, refreshing and calming at the same time.
